Trenarren

Trenarren is a small cove tucked away on the south Cornish coast between Porthpean and Pentewan. The cove can only be accessed on foot and although the pebble beach is only small the surrounding rock formations are an added attraction for photography. The walk from the parking area to the beach is approximately 850 metres downhill and if the arduous coastal path eastward is followed it brings you to Blackhead. Here there is a memorial plaque to A.L. Rouse a renowned Cornish historian who lived at Trenarren until his death in 1986. From Blackhead there is an alternative path back to the parking area.
