Priest's Cove

Priest's Cove in west Cornwall is a small fishing inlet overlooked by Cape Cornwall, the only "Cape" in the UK. In the 1980's the Heinz food company gave Cape Cornwall and Priest's Cove to the National Trust. From the nearby large National Trust car park the cove can be accessd although this access is somewhat steep. The cove's shoreline consists mainly of pebbles which provide a ready made foreground to any photograph. Cape Cornwall and the monument at its summit involve a strenuous climb but with rewarding views.
