Bedruthan Steps

Bedruthan Steps on the north Cornish coast is a much visited location by photographers and for very good reason. Although access to the beach is difficult via 142 very steep steps the reward upon reaching the beach is stunning views in all directions. As with many locations the cliffs at Bedruthan Steps are dangerous and there is evidence of previous rock falls. Also, an awareness of the tide times is essential as the tide comes in very quickly here and there is only one way down and back to the beach so for the unobservant visitor there is a real chance of getting cut off by the tide. The car park indicated on the map is owned by The National Trust so free to members. Upon leaving the car park there are well defined paths leading to the steps to the beach but be warned, it is a long way down and back up again.
