Hello, I am Trevor Rabey and here is a little bit of my background.
In 1971 I completed a four year technical illustration course at Cornwall Technical College England having gained passes in City & Guilds Technical illustration intermediate with credit and finals with distinction, an 'A' level in Engineering Drawing, South West Regional Diploma in Art and Design with distinction and licentiate membership of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers.
In November 1971 I took up employment with a major British aircraft company producing illustrations for maintenance and parts catalogues as well as coloured graphics for slide presentations. Whilst working in the aircraft industry I gained full membership of the Society of Industrial Artists and also became a member of The Guild of Motoring Artists.
After some years in the aircraft industry I spent time working for a German technical illustration agency producing work for Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen, a major minerals company producing work for technical manuals and now freelance producing technical graphics/ illustrations for clients worldwide.
